REFLECTION FOR THE COURSE
I would like to say that Hydrology is one of my favourite subject in this semester as it is very interesting to learn about flow of the stream, water cyckle, precipitation, infiltration and many more. Hydrology is the study of water flow. As we know, water is our most important natural resources. Wihtout it, there would be no life on earth. In this class, I get to understand on how water is distributed and managed. This is my first tie learning under Dr. Raza and he introduced with thr active learning method which seems to be complicated in this course. At the end, I am able to link this course to my other civil engineering course and I hope this will help me in my career in the future.
REFLECTION FOR THE BOARD GAME
From my experience, when the project was first announced, I was quite don’t understand about the purpose of this project. The board game which connects with Hydrology question is very difficult to play. However, it can be a useful medium to learn new knowledge after going through it. The board game had been completed by 5 of us which is Hazimah, Ivander, Winda, Shazrul and me. To be honest, I found out monopoly game was hard to play as it takes a lot of time and a lot of energy to finish this game. Besides, the decision to choose question was quite challenging task as it will very hard to complete the game if the question is quite bearable. I have personally prepared all of the question for this project and I prepared a lot of more easy question as monopoly game will took a lot of time to finish it. In the process of playing the game, different trials and rules were made and improved. However, it helps me learn from mistake while improving my knowledge regarding Hydrology. I believe that those who participate in this board game can learn while having joy among each other.
REFLECTION FOR MINI PROJECT
All in all, this mini project would have not succeeded without teamwork and proper organization. This mini project really taught us the importance of Hydrology in this world. Although it consumes more time than doing an assignment, it helping me to learn while having fun. I have seen my team members to a greater degree in which they endeavored their best in. making the project run effortlessly and smoothly. It was certainly impressive on how my group members made sense of how to execute everything on time and helped each other during the project.
