REFLECTION FOR THE COURSE
Hydrology is a course that I find very interesting, since one of my interests and curiosities is understanding the world better. Hydrology explains about things that happen in the nature and analyzes the means to take the best of it. The class is conducted by Dr. Raza, who makes the lectures dynamic and easy to understand, in an environment that makes the learning process better.
REFLECTION FOR THE BOARD GAME
I find the board game interesting and intellectual as well. I am a type of person that likes to play games or do things that require a sort of brain activity, that will help me become a better thinker. The monopoly-hydrology game is such that in order to make progress or to win the game, we ought to know Hydrology-related topics, which makes the learning process more interesting and fun. It involves spontaneity and readiness to think and process in an organized manner to questions related to hydrology, which is one useful skill to be learned.
REFLECTION FOR MINI PROJECT
Initially I was a bit confused about the objective of the project, not knowing how involving a board game would be helpful in the course, which changed in the course of the project. It was wise to apply fun in the learning process, which ought to make learning easier. Besides having learned about a slightly better way of studying, I also got to learn about Prezi, which is a presentation program, used to organize presentation slides in a similar and relatively better way compared with Microsoft PowerPoint.
